ForU Peer Support Resources

The forU Team Purpose: The work we do can be physically and emotionally challenging. Most of the time we adjust and have defenses that carry us through the job. But sometimes the emotional aftershock or stress reaction can be difficult to navigate. Signs and symptoms of this emotional impact can last for days, weeks, months, or even longer. Peer support is an evidence-based strategy to minimize the toll of distress and optimize the provider environment. Mission: To provide timely and confidential clinician-to-clinician support following an adverse event or other practice stressor that focuses on emotional impact and not event details.
